The Fitness Academy’s fundamentals course series has been designed to help you develop the knowledge and skill sets necessary to become a successful fitness professional. The course content will provide you with both theoretical and practical information.
OBJECTIVES: The overall objectives, of the Fundamental Course series, are to provide the student with the ability to:
Understand basic exercise science as it relates to the general public
Understand the industry’s guidelines for designing a safe and effective workout program
Master professional skill sets to motivate and coach clientele
Master a competent level of knowledge to evaluate health and fitness goals and programs
Apply the theoretical information to design and deliver a group fitness class or a personal training session.
Incorporate professionalism in his/her practice by following the Industry’s Code of Ethic and related legal guidelines.
